Week 10
The week started with the feared MCQ. I didn't know what to expect and the Irish students tried to scare us with the difficulty. In the end it went just fine and I passed with no problem. We also started working on our final group project and I got to meet new Irish students. One thing that I regret is not socializing with the Irish students more. Or to be more precise with other students. All of our lectures were either with our Erasmus group or with the Irish radiography students. It would have been interesting to have an optional course and mix with students from other fields.
Saint Patrick's day |
Friday marked Saint Patrick's weekend and we were all excited for the celebrations. We were in town two hours before the parade just to secure the best spots. While waiting we ordered the legendary Shamrock shakes. We ended the day visiting some of the more famous pubs before heading home for the night. On Sunday I visited Blackrock in hopes of seeing birds but the water was quite low and the birds far away. This week you could feel that spring was coming. I have already been impressed by the variety of birds Ireland has to offer and I am excited to spot any visitors the weeks I have left.
