I am Christa Tanskanen, 3rd year radiography student from Finland. I currently study in Tampere University of Applied sciences and I am planning to graduate Christmas 2023. The only
modality I have yet to have a clinical placement on is radiotherapy.
During my Erasmus-exchange I will also be working on my thesis about radiographer's career paths in Finland and I am hoping this exchange will help with some aspects of writing it. I am also hoping to gain some experience working abroad and to attain a clearer vision where I want to work next. My favorite modalities are MRI and angiography and I am hoping my time in Ireland will help me gain experience on those areas.

| The hardest goodbye |
My hobbies include art and culture and also birds. I am fascinated by almost every avian creature from pigeons to more exotic birds. I am hoping that I see many new differend birds during my time here.
